Erick Orrosquieta, known as Deorro, is a Mexican-American DJ from Los Angeles who was raised in West Covina. He began DJing at 14 and started producing at 17, developing a style that moves between Dutch house, progressive house, electro house, Melbourne bounce, trap, jumpstyle and moombahton. An early turning point came when DJ Chuckie requested a remix of Make Some Noise in 2012. Deorro then released Yee through Hardwell's Revealed Recordings in 2013.
His 2014 track Five Hours became a central release, later reworked with Chris Brown as Five More Hours in 2015. Both recordings earned multiple international certifications, with Five Hours receiving RIAA Gold and Five More Hours earning RIAA Platinum. In 2014 he performed a half-hour set at a DJ Mag event during Amsterdam Dance Event. He has built a further outlet through Panda Funk, the label he founded and expanded, while also releasing via Dim Mak, Revealed, Ultra, Monstercat and Spinnin'.
Deorro appeared as the DJ on MTV's Teen Wolf and performed with Pitbull and IAMCHINO at the 2022 Premio Lo Nuestro awards. His DJ work has consistently joined energetic house-based programming to a broader Latin-pop and mainstream electronic presence.
