Deniz Koyu — Progressive House & Electro House DJDeniz Koyu
Deniz Akcakoyunlu, who performs as Deniz Koyu, is a Turkish-German DJ and producer born in 1985 in Bochum who specializes in progressive house and electro house. He held a residency at Wynn Las Vegas and has played main stages at Tomorrowland, Ultra Miami, Electric Daisy Carnival and Creamfields.
In 2012 he co-headlined a four-week, 25-city North American bus tour called "Generation Wild" alongside Danny Avila. His productions and remixes have appeared on Spinnin' Records, Axtone, Protocol Recordings and Sony Music, and he has collaborated with Alesso, Nicky Romero, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Galantis and Fedde le Grand, while also remixing tracks by David Guetta, Zedd and Anitta.
Drawing early inspiration from Daft Punk, Kraftwerk and Giorgio Moroder, he built a sound spanning trance, techno, indie dance and disco house before settling into the progressive and electro house style that has defined his festival sets. His touring and residency work across Las Vegas and the international festival circuit have kept him a consistent presence on electronic dance-music lineups through the 2010s and into the current decade.
