Deetron

Deetron, born Sam Geiser in 1977, is a Swiss techno DJ, remixer and producer whose catalogue spans more than two decades of club-focused releases. He debuted as a producer under the alias Soulmate on the Bern label Phont Music before releasing the track Dolls for a Diva on Music Man, and in 2003 he issued the mix CD In the Mix.

Working with Samuel Session, Geiser produced Miss Suave for Carl Cox's Intec Records, and his 2006 album Twisted appeared on Music Man Records, followed by Music Over Matter in 2013 and Rotational Gravity in 2021. His mix series contributions include a 2011 entry in Resident Advisor's RA.EX podcast series, a 2014 mix for London's long-running Fabric series, Fabric 76, and a 2018 entry in the K7-affiliated DJ-Kicks series, three of electronic music's most closely watched mix franchises.

He also recorded for the Raveline Mix Sessions in 2010 and the Balance series in 2011. Geiser's discography and mix-series credits place him within a small group of techno producers trusted with entries across Fabric, DJ-Kicks and Resident Advisor's own podcast, three separate franchises that each carry significant weight in signaling standing within the international techno DJ community.
