Deborah de Luca
Deborah De Luca is a Naples-born DJ who built her career on hardcore techno and minimal sets played across clubs and festivals worldwide. She began recording and posting her live streaming sets early in her career, one of the first DJs to do so, helping build a following before she was booked internationally. In 2013 she founded Sola_mente Records, an imprint she uses to release her own tracks and to platform other techno artists, and the label has since passed fifty releases.
De Luca is regarded as one of the prominent figures in Italian electronic music, playing extended, immersive sets that lean into driving, hypnotic rhythms rather than crowd-pleasing peaks. Her production catalogue includes the albums Ten (2018) and She Sleeps (2020), both issued on Sola_mente, which support a DJ identity built around dark, physical techno. She has cited early mentorship from Neapolitan DJ Giuseppe Cennamo as a turning point in her approach to both DJing and running her label.
Touring has taken her through Europe's major techno circuit and beyond, where she is booked for all-night sets that showcase the harder, minimal end of the genre she has championed since the early 2010s.
