David Puentez
David Puentez, born Benjamin Beyer in Germany, is a DJ and producer whose 2018 breakthrough came from an edit of Drake's "God's Plan" that became one of the most-played tracks at both Tomorrowland and Parookaville, surpassing two million streams. That edit caught the attention of Musical Freedom head Tiësto, who brought Puentez on for official remixes of "Jackie Chan" and "Ritual," collaborations that raised his profile within the big room and electro house festival circuit. His single "No Matter What" reached number one on the German iTunes Top 100 chart and passed eight million Spotify streams, earning rotation on major radio stations and further cementing his standing in the German dance scene. Puentez has released official remixes for Axwell Λ Ingrosso, Rita Ora, Jonas Blue, Post Malone, Galantis, Flo Rida and Showtek, a remix résumé spanning both dance-specific and pop-crossover audiences. He has performed at major festivals including Glücksgefühle at the Hockenheimring, sharing bills with artists such as Boris Brejcha and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, and continues to release through labels including Axtone, Heldeep, Spinnin' Records and Musical Freedom.
