David Herrero
David Herrero is a house and tech house DJ and producer from Asturias, Spain, who has built his career on organic, tribal deep grooves delivered across an international touring calendar. He relocated his base to Benavente, where after establishing residency he became co-owner of the venue The Hoom on Calle de los Carros and a collaborator with the nearby club Espectro in San Cristóbal de Entreviñas.
Over the years Herrero has contributed more than 200 tracks and remixes to the underground scene, earning support from DJs including Marco Carola, Richie Hawtin and Loco Dice. His productions, such as the tech house cut Alanka on Stereo Productions, have circulated widely among club and festival DJs, and he continues to release mixes documenting his sets, from afro-groove-leaning sessions to deep-to-love journeys.
Herrero's sound draws on the funky house era before moving into the tribal deep house space, a shift that mirrors broader trends in the genre and has kept him relevant across different phases of dance music. He remains active on the club circuit, balancing residency commitments in Benavente with appearances at venues around the world, and continues to issue new mixes and productions documenting his evolving style.
