Dave202 is the performing name of Swiss DJ Davide Tropeano, born in Wädenswil in 1973, who has been DJing trance since the mid-1990s and holds a residency at Zurich's OXA club. In 2004 he launched his own party series, Dave Solo, giving him a recurring platform to showcase his trance sets beyond his OXA residency and helping extend his reach across the Swiss club scene.
Dave202 has also worked with the German dance act Scooter, collaborating on the track "Kill the Cat," a crossover that connected his trance-rooted DJ career to a wider pop-dance audience. His sets are built around the melodic, high-tempo trance style that has anchored Swiss club culture since the 1990s, a sound he has maintained consistently through both his club residency and his own event series.
