D-NOX
D-Nox, born Christian Wedekind in Germany, grew up in East Germany behind the Iron Curtain before establishing himself as a globally touring DJ known for regularly performing alongside his production partner Beckers as D-Nox & Beckers. He has played techno since 1992 and settled in Berlin in 2007, from where he travels roughly 550 kilometers to the studio he shares with Beckers, balancing studio work with a consistent international DJ schedule.
Wedekind founded and runs the labels Sprout Music and Plastik Park, the latter managed by Sally Doolally, both used to release music that feeds directly into his DJ sets, which he has said he plays with a mix of released and unreleased material. His festival bookings have included Boom Festival and Ozora Festival, two of the largest psychedelic and progressive trance-adjacent gatherings in Europe, as well as Timeless Festival in South Africa in 2024 alongside Booka Shade and John Digweed.
Now based partly in Brazil, D-Nox continues to tour internationally, with a sound spanning techno, tech-house, progressive house and progressive trance. His three-decade run since starting with school disco parties in the late 1980s reflects a DJ career built on sustained touring rather than a single breakout release.
