D-Nox & Beckers

D-Nox & Beckers is a German DJ and production duo of Christian Wedekind and Frank Beckers, whose combined DJing and producing careers span more than a quarter century, with their partnership's debut release appearing in late 2004. D-Nox came up through Germany's techno scene in the early 1990s before founding his own imprint, Sprout Music, while Beckers built a touring career of his own after musical training from childhood. Following their 2007 album Left Behind on Electribe, the duo toured heavily through Brazil, Japan, Mexico, Australia and beyond, and in the first half of 2008 they signed to Marc Romboy's Systematic Recordings, releasing the mixed CD City Lights that same year. D-Nox made his first appearance in DJ Mag's Top 250 DJs list in 2008, and the pair won a DJ Award for Best Progressive House Artist in 2010, the same period their second studio album was being prepared for Christian Smith's Tronic Music. Their catalogue drew remix requests from Minilogue, Nick Muir, Lutzenkirchen and Tocadisco, and their fusion of techno, tech-house and progressive elements kept their productions circulating through touring DJs' record bags worldwide.
