Cyantific
Cyantific is the recording name of British drum and bass producer and DJ Jon Stanley, who emerged in the early 2000s from South West London and built a career blending energetic rhythms with melodic songwriting. Originally a duo with Matt Whitehead before the pair split in 2009, Cyantific released Ghetto Blaster through Hospital Records in 2009 and continued issuing drum and bass through the 2010s, including Back Off in 2016, before launching his own imprint, Cyantific Discovery, in 2020 with the Discovery Vol.

After the acclaim of his 2018 album Bloodlines, Cyantific has spoken publicly about stepping back from touring and studio work to address burnout before returning to production with a renewed, more experimental and introspective approach that still retains drum and bass's core structural elements. That arc, from early-2000s scene entrant to Hospital Records signee to independent label founder, has kept Cyantific's name active across two decades of UK drum and bass, with his DJ sets built around the same melodic, high-energy production style that defined his recorded work from the outset.
