Christos Fourkis
Christos Fourkis is a Greek DJ and producer, born in 1981 in Aigio, who began playing in local clubs and bars at 16 before moving into production. He worked as a resident DJ at a top club in his hometown for around six years, playing house, progressive house and electro house before diversifying into deep and lounge styles.
Fourkis has collaborated widely across electronic music and has had tracks featured in prominent compilation series such as Buddha Bar, Ministry of Sound and various Ibiza-branded collections. In 2015 he founded his own label, Retrolounge Records, and by 2016 he had shifted his focus to the Afro house scene, a move that saw Traxsource rank him 14th globally among Afro house producers that year.
In 2019 one of his tracks appeared on a specialist download chart's Best Afro House Tracks list, and he has amassed more than 500 releases across his career. Fourkis continues to perform in Athens clubs, including tribal house nights, and in 2024 began teaching music production at a school in Greece, mentoring newer artists while maintaining his own DJ and production schedule.
