Christian Cambas
Christian Cambas, born 28 November 1980, is a DJ and producer based in Athens, Greece, who started out as a drum and bass DJ while living in Boston, working at the local record store Boston Beat alongside his early gigs. He later held a two-year residency at Athens club +SODA, a booking that followed warm-up sets he played for Carl Cox, John Digweed and Sasha, positioning him within Greece's upper tier of club DJs by the mid-2000s.
Cambas entered DJ Mag's Top 100 poll at number 88 in 2005, a placement tied largely to his releases on Slovenian DJ Umek's 1605 label, which helped establish his production credentials alongside his club residency work. His sound shifted over his career from drum and bass toward techno and tech house, tracking broader stylistic changes across the European club scene during the 2000s.
Cambas has continued to play DJ sets in Greece into recent years, including shared bills such as a 2024 date alongside Caravel at Bolivar Beach Bar in Athens as part of the Untitechno series. His path from a Boston-based drum and bass DJ to an Athens club resident and internationally released techno producer reflects a career built across multiple genres and two continents.
