About Chase and Status
Chase & Status is the London duo of Saul Milton and Will Kennard, who formed in 2003 and built their profile through early support from BBC Radio 1Xtra DJs, with 2004's Love's Theme, released via DJ Zinc's Bingo Beats, receiving airplay that helped establish their drum and bass and big beat sound. The duo headlined 1Xtra Live in Bournemouth in 2013 and have taken DJ sets and live shows across major festivals including a 2012 sub-headline slot at Download, headlining South West Four the same year, and Saturday-night headline sets at Roskilde and co-headline slots at Reading and Leeds in 2013. Their 2018 Rtrn II Jungle Tour consisted specifically of DJ sets, and their 2 Ruff Tour carried them across the UK, Europe and North America in 2023 and 2024. They joined Shy FX, David Rodigan and MC Rage as part of the Rebel Sound soundsystem at the 2014 Red Bull Culture Clash. Running their own label, MTA Records, the duo have also produced for Rihanna and Rita Ora, and have won the Drum & Bass Awards for Best Producer multiple times, most recently in 2023, alongside a 2024 Brit Award for Producer of the Year.
