Boys Noize

Boys Noize is the performing name of Alexander Ridha, a Berlin-based DJ and producer born in Hamburg in 1982, active since 2004 across electro house, techno and acid house. He began producing and DJing at an early age under the alias Kid Alex, taking support slots for Felix Da Housecat and DJ Hell before establishing his own name and, in 2005, founding the label Boysnoize Records, which marked its 100th release in 2013 and later spawned the BNR Trax sublabel in 2010 and the experimental imprint Ones and Zeros in 2025. Early releases appeared on International Deejay Gigolos, Kitsune Musique and Turbo Recordings, positioning him within the mid-2000s electro house scene alongside labels central to that movement. Ridha formed Dog Blood with Skrillex in 2012, a project that played the Miami Ultra Music Festival the following year, and separately teamed with Chilly Gonzales as Octave Minds, while more recently joining Nine Inch Nails on stage in 2025 under the Nine Inch Noize banner. His 2016 album Mayday was described by Ridha as a statement against blind categorization, reflecting the genre-crossing approach that has defined his DJ sets and productions across two decades.
