Bobina

Bobina, born Dmitry Almazov on March 11, 1982, in Moscow, is a Russian trance DJ, record producer, and radio host who entered the international DJ scene in 2008, becoming the first Russian artist to chart on the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs poll. He credits Armin van Buuren as his introduction to electronic music and his inspiration for pursuing trance specifically. Bobina hosts a radio show distributed on SoundCloud called Russia Goes Clubbing, giving him a recurring platform alongside his club and festival dates.

His releases have appeared on major trance labels including Ministry of Sound, Perfecto, Armada, Sony Music, and Black Hole Recordings, and he has received support from artists such as Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold, and Ferry Corsten. He appeared on the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs poll in three consecutive years, ranking 28th in 2008, 16th in 2009, and 25th in 2010, a run that reflected his touring and international profile at the time. His albums Time and Tide, released in 2008, and Again, released in 2010, both through Black Hole Recordings, consolidated his standing within the vocal trance scene the label was known for.

Bobina continues to perform and host his radio show, maintaining his position as one of Russia's most internationally recognized trance exports.
