Bassjackers — Big Room EDM DJ & ProducerBassjackers
Bassjackers is the Dutch DJ and production duo of Marlon Flohr and Ralph van Hilst, formed in Tilburg in 2007 after the pair met in high school. Their sound combines Dutch house, electro house and big-room energy with elements of trap and future house. Mush Mush, released in 2011, spent more than two months in Beatport's top 10 and was played by Hardwell, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Swedish House Mafia. The following releases RIA and Bronx extended their label profile before Crackin became a major breakthrough in 2014; the Martin Garrix remix reached the upper end of Beatport's chart and its video passed 15 million views.
Wave Your Hands with Thomas Newson later became their first Beatport chart leader. Bassjackers' performance career includes an early major concert at Ultra Music Festival Miami in 2012, a first Tomorrowland appearance in 2013, Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas and Ultra Music Festival Argentina. At EDC they performed Raise Those Hands with R3hab, while Afrojack premiered their What We Live For collaboration at Ultra Argentina. The duo has issued music through Spinnin', Revealed, Smash the House, Doorn, Fly Eye, Hysteria, Skink, Musical Freedom and Protocol.
They also worked with Martin Garrix and KSHMR. Their DJ sets are built for immediate physical impact, pairing Dutch big-room force with quick shifts toward trap and future-house textures.
