Anja Schneider — House & Techno DJ & Producer

Anja Schneider moved to Berlin in 1994 and began her career in electronic music at the private radio station Kiss FM, where she worked alongside Ellen Allien, setting up a dual path through radio broadcasting and club DJing that has defined her career. She held a resident DJ slot at Berlin's Watergate club from November 2003 to April 2005 and became a regular performer at the club WMF starting in July 2005, where she hosted a party series with personally selected guests including Jennifer Cardini and Jesper Dahlbäck. From 2000 until 2017, Schneider hosted Dance Under The Blue Moon every Saturday on Radio Fritz, a show that introduced new club releases and welcomed guests such as Luciano, Tiefschwarz, DJ T., M.A.N.D.Y., DJ Hell, John Tejada and Booka Shade. She moved to Radio Eins in spring 2017 to host Club Room, which ran until its final broadcast in early August 2021. Beyond her broadcasting work, Schneider produced “Tonite” with Berlin DJ and producer Sebo K, releasing it in November 2004 with remixes that reached number 8 on the German Club Charts, and in 2005 she founded Mobilee Records, which has released music by Sebo K, Pan-Pot and other Berlin-associated house and techno artists tied to her club and radio programming.
