Alison Wonderland

Alison Wonderland is Alexandra Sholler, a classically trained cellist from Sydney who moved into DJing around 2006 to 2007 and went on to become the highest-billed female DJ in Coachella's history when she headlined the festival's main stage in 2018. That booking followed the release of her second album, Awake, which debuted at number one on Billboard's Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart and fed directly into the bass-heavy, emotionally driven sets that became her signature on festival stages worldwide.

She reached number 96 on DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs poll in October 2018, a marker of how quickly her live show, built around heavy bass drops layered with her own vocals, had grown an international following. Sholler's DJ sets typically combine trap, dubstep and pop-leaning dance elements, translating her studio productions into festival-scale performances rather than functioning as a pure club DJ.

Her discography, including debut album Run in 2015 and most recently Ghost World in October 2025, has continued to supply new material for her touring sets across North America, Europe and Australia. Alison Wonderland's path from cello training to festival headline slots has made her one of the more closely tracked Australian dance acts of the past decade, with her live shows remaining central to her public identity alongside her studio albums.
