Alexander Mieling, known as Alex M.O.R.P.H., is a German DJ and producer associated with trance and house. He released his first single, Paysages, in 1996 through Seelenlandschaften, then worked with Ralf Merle on the Badlands project and issued music on Clubbgroove Records from 2000 to 2003. A 2007 collaboration with Paul van Dyk led to a signing with Vandit Records. His debut album, Purple Audio, followed on Vandit in 2009, the year he first appeared in the DJ Mag Top 100.
He later released Prime Mover on Armada in 2012 and Not All Superheroes Wear Capes on Vandit in 2016. Across his catalogue, M.O.R.P.H. has completed more than 500 remixes. He co-founded the HeavensGate radio show with Woody van Eyden; it broadcasts weekly on more than 200 stations in over 50 countries and reaches more than 10 million listeners.
His 2011 track An Angel's Love remains his most popular, with 5.5 million YouTube views and 4.3 million Spotify plays by 2024. Recently, he has also performed as MRPHLNDR and appeared on A State of Trance Episode 1177. His profile combines melodic trance, a sustained radio presence and a deep record of remix work across a long electronic career.
