Alex Kidd
Alex Kidd is a British hard dance DJ who built his name as a longtime resident at Goodgreef, a club night he has supported since its opening night and where he still plays today. Known within the UK scene simply as The Kidd, he plays a style he describes as predominantly European hard trance with elements of hard dance, hardstyle and touches of techno.
His profile grew through regular touring across Europe, Asia, Australia and North America, and he was invited to record his own BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, a rare credit for an artist working in the harder end of dance music. Alex Kidd also created and hosts his own festival, Kiddstock, which he launched in 2007 and which has since become a fixture on the UK hard dance calendar.
He has picked up multiple Best Hard Dance DJ awards over the course of his career and continues to play sets at Ibiza parties such as Advanced and Tidy at Eden, alongside festival bookings including Creamfields. Alongside his DJ work, Kidd has also taken on promotion and event production through Dance Generation UK, overseeing festivals and club nights across Britain, Ibiza, Australia and Cyprus while keeping his residency and touring schedule as a DJ at the center of his career.
