Alesso
Alessandro Renato Rodolfo Lindblad, known as Alesso, is a Swedish DJ from Stockholm whose melodic, uplifting take on progressive house moves between rave-focused drops and emotive builds. Mentored by Sebastian Ingrosso, he emerged from the Swedish house scene and developed into an international headliner with a sound that balances direct festival energy and more tuneful passages. His early major-festival appearances included Creamfields in 2012, where he played to a crowd of 60,000, and he has since appeared at Coachella, EDC, Ultra and Tomorrowland.
In 2018 he closed Tomorrowland's mainstage, played Electric Zoo's tenth anniversary, and delivered three sold-out shows at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles. That same year also included a Good Morning America Central Park concert-series appearance. His live schedule has ranged from that run of club-scale Palladium dates to a New Year's Eve poolside show at Miami's Fontainebleau Resort with J Balvin.
Alesso also brought his music to the 2023 UEFA Champions League final, playing Heroes (We Could Be). His DJ Mag record includes a high point of 13th in both 2013 and 2015, alongside a thirteenth consecutive appearance in 2024. He remains closely associated with the Swedish house tradition through a style built for both melodic lift and large-room release.
