Airbase is the primary stage name of Jezper Söderlund, a Swedish producer and DJ from Gothenburg. Active since 1994, when he began experimenting with electronic music via the Scream Tracker sequencer before switching to Ableton Live in 2004, Söderlund built a career in uplifting and tech trance after landing his first recording contract in 2001.
He is known within the trance scene for using more than a dozen aliases across his catalogue, including Scarab, Parc, Ozone and One Man Army, though Airbase remains his most recognized identity for club and festival sets. Alongside his production work, Söderlund built a following among trance DJs and fans by posting detailed Ableton Live tutorials, giving him visibility beyond the dancefloor as a technical resource for other producers.
His tracks and remixes have circulated widely within uplifting trance circles, a genre defined by soaring melodic breakdowns and festival-scale drops, and his releases have supported bookings across the European trance circuit.
