Agoria
Agoria, born Sebastien Devaud in Lyon in 1976, is a French DJ, producer and composer who has released four studio albums, including the soundtrack to the film Go Fast, while building a parallel career as a club and festival DJ across the French and wider European techno scene. He founded the label InFine Music and co-founded Sapiens Records, using both as platforms for his own material and for artists working in a similarly detailed, melodic strain of techno. Agoria's DJ sets and productions draw on jazz and Detroit techno influences that shaped his introduction to electronic music in rural France during the mid-1990s, and he has been described within the French press as a unifying figure across the country's techno scene. His career spans studio composition, DJing and digital art projects, reflecting an approach that treats production, performance and visual work as connected practices rather than separate pursuits. He remains active across all three areas, continuing to release albums and tour as a DJ while running his labels and pursuing digital-art commissions alongside his core electronic music output.
