Ace Ventura is an Israeli psytrance DJ based in Zürich, Switzerland, who came up through the Goa-trance scene of the 1990s before launching his solo career under the Ace Ventura name in 2006, following the dissolution of his earlier project Psysex. He co-founded Psy-Nation with Liquid Soul, a monthly radio show and event series that has become one of the genre's recurring broadcast and touring platforms. Ace Ventura has played major psytrance and dance festivals including Boom, Ozora, Antaris, Indian Spirit Festival, Psy-Fi Festival, Rainbow Serpent, XXXPerience, Solstice, EDC Las Vegas, Tomorrowland, Dreamstate and Universo Paralello, a circuit spanning South America, Europe, Australia and North America.
His mix series work includes multiple entries under the New Order title released in 2006, 2009 and 2012, alongside Dance Computer in 2011, Goa Session in 2015 and the Psy-Nation Vol. 001 through 003 compilations released between 2019 and 2020. His debut studio album, Rebirth, came out in 2007 on Iboga Records, followed by his second album, Paradise Engineering, on the same label in 2015, and remix collections including Re:Boot in 2009 and Life is a Remix in 2020.
His 2015 collaborative track “The Calling,” made with Vini Vici, extended his reach across the wider psytrance festival touring circuit that continues to define his DJ career.
