Abel Ramos — Techno, Trance & Hard Trance DJAbel Ramos
Abel Ramos is a Madrid-based Spanish DJ and producer who started DJing in 1990 and began playing outside Spain from 2001 onward, building a touring career that has since taken him through the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, France, Peru, Morocco, Australia and Indonesia. His sound spans techno, trance and hard trance, and he was selected as the national DJ for Sensation in Madrid in 2008, a marker of his standing within Spain's mainstream club-event circuit at the time.
Ramos has also recorded under group names including Attica, Sars and The New Iberican League, giving him additional outlets alongside his solo DJ work. He currently works as a presenter for LOS40 Dance, extending his reach into radio broadcasting on top of club and festival bookings, and has spoken publicly about how the technical demands of DJing have shifted as the wider electronic scene has evolved.
More than three decades after starting behind the decks, Ramos continues to describe himself first as a DJ, with recent interviews touching on his experiences playing major festivals such as Tomorrowland and Ultra Miami. His career arc, from local Madrid DJ to internationally touring artist and now radio host, reflects a long and continuous presence in Spanish electronic music.
