4 Strings — Vocal Trance DJ & Producer

4 Strings is the Dutch vocal trance project fronted in the studio by Carlo Resoort, with Jan De Vos performing under the name DJ 4 Strings and handling all live DJ shows and performances. The project's breakthrough single, Take Me Away (Into the Night), reached number 15 on the UK Singles Chart in 2002, and 4 Strings placed five different singles on the UK chart between December 2000 and July 2004, alongside additional Billboard Dance Radio Airplay entries for tracks such as Turn It Around and Curious. DJ 4 Strings compiled the 2007 mix album Ultra.Trance 2007, which reached number seven on the Top Electronic Albums chart, reflecting the act's standing within the trance DJ circuit distributed through Ultra Records. The duo's studio albums Believe, Turn It Around and Mainline anchored a catalogue of tracks that circulated through trance sets internationally, and their February 2020 Tranceformations festival appearance marked new vocalist Susanne Teutenberg's live debut with the group after it emerged she had voiced the earlier hit singles rather than the previously credited Vanessa van Hemert. The project continues performing under the 4 Strings name on the festival circuit.
