3 Are Legend — Electronic Dance Music Supergroup3 Are Legend
3 Are Legend is an EDM supergroup comprising Dimitri Vegas, Like Mike and Steve Aoki. Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike are described as Belgian Greek DJs, while Aoki is American; the trio had performed together for years before formally using the 3 Are Legend name at Ultra Music Festival in 2014. The project is built around a shared large-scale festival identity rather than a separately documented genre niche, with electronic dance music as its stated foundation.
Its festival appearances include TomorrowWorld, Creamfields, Ultra Music Festival and Tomorrowland. A major milestone came on July 28, 2019, when 3 Are Legend closed Tomorrowland for the first time during the festival's 15th anniversary. The set followed the July 26 release of Khaleesi with W&W and took place amid controversy connected to Swedish House Mafia's cancelled 2019 tour dates.
Their releases have been credited to Smash The House and Dim Mak as well as issued independently. Before adopting their formal name, the members collaborated under other billing on tracks including Phat Brahms, Feedback, Melody and We Are Legend; the latter was based on a Martin Garrix demo titled legend. With three established DJs joining forces, 3 Are Legend's documented story centers on collective festival appearances, a formal identity introduced at Ultra and a headline-closing Tomorrowland moment that established the group as a recurring supergroup configuration.
