Suzy Solar
Suzy Solar is a US trance DJ best known for hosting Solar Power Sessions, a radio show she launched in 2001 that has run for nearly 900 episodes, making it one of the longest-running trance radio programs in the genre's history. She also hosts We Are Trance on AH.FM and a further program, Solar Power Progressive, giving her three ongoing radio outlets alongside her club and festival DJ bookings. The scale of Solar Power Sessions, approaching nine hundred episodes, has made it a fixture for trance listeners over more than two decades, and her role as host has kept her connected to new releases and artists across that entire span. Her additional shows on AH.FM and her progressive-focused program extend her radio presence into related strands of the genre, broadening her reach beyond a single show format. Solar's career illustrates how a sustained radio presence can anchor a trance DJ's profile over a long career, with her programs serving as a consistent touchpoint for the genre's fanbase even as club and festival trends within trance have shifted over the more than twenty years she has been broadcasting.
