Sied van Riel
Sied van Riel is a Dutch trance DJ and producer, originally from Rotterdam and now based in Spijkenisse, who entered the scene in 2006 with his debut track Fearless and has maintained an extensive international touring schedule since. He hosts Rielism, a weekly one-hour radio show broadcast on Afterhours.fm every Monday, and has released a corresponding run of mix compilations, including In Riel Time in 2009 on Spinnin' Records and four volumes of Rielism between 2011 and 2017 on Black Hole Recordings. His production catalogue spans a long list of trance-focused labels, among them Armada, Vandit, Magic Island Recordings and his own label, Rielism, alongside Future Sound Of Egypt Recordings and A State Of Trance-affiliated imprints. Van Riel's releases have regularly featured across the A State of Trance ecosystem, and his DJ mix series remains the centerpiece of a career built on sustained club and festival touring rather than a single breakout hit, keeping him a consistent name within the European trance touring circuit for close to two decades.
