Provenzano
Provenzano, born Amerigo Provenzano in Rome in 1970, has built his career around Italian radio as much as club DJing, hosting the Provenzano dj show and Out of Mind programs on m2o, the Italian dance radio station he co-founded in 2002. He has produced more than 100 mixed compilations over his career, a body of work that has run alongside his club bookings at venues including Praja and Privilege Ibiza.
His radio shows have given him a platform to broadcast mixes to a national audience in Italy, complementing the club sets he plays at seasonal venues associated with the country's dance music circuit. Provenzano's role as a co-founder of m2o ties his DJ identity directly to the station's programming, and his shows there have run for years as a fixture of Italian dance radio.
His club appearances at Ibiza's Privilege and at Praja reflect connections to both the Balearic and Italian summer club circuits. The combination of a long-running radio presence and steady club dates has defined Provenzano's profile more than any single release or production credit.
