Paul Webster

Paul Webster, born John Paul Webster in Dublin, is an Irish trance and tech-trance DJ and producer who has been part of the Irish dance scene since he began DJing in the mid-2000s. He has held three residencies in Ireland, for the nights Trancelation, Letrik and Xlr8, and built his profile playing Ireland's biggest clubs while showcasing his sound on Dublin's Club FM, where he presented mixes featuring guests including Judge Jules, Marco V and Sander van Doorn. His 2006 production Corruption was played repeatedly by leading trance DJs including Paul van Dyk, Armin van Buuren, Eddie Halliwell and Judge Jules, who named it Tried and Tested Track of the Week on BBC Radio 1; the track's success led Armin van Buuren to sign Webster and the record to his label, Armada Music. Webster has played at trance festivals including Ministry of Sound in London, Godskitchen, Planet Love in Dublin, Luminosity in the Netherlands and The Arches in Glasgow, and appeared on the Tranceaddicts World DJ ranking at number 31. His remix catalogue includes reworks of tracks by Above & Beyond, Gareth Emery and Armin van Buuren, and he continues to perform at trance events such as Trancefest in Glasgow.
