Ost & Meyer
Ost & Meyer are a Ukrainian trance DJ and production duo from Kyiv formed by Nikita Bogdanov (Ost) and Vadym Porotkov (Meyer). The pair joined the Anjunabeats label family in 2011 with their first two releases, "Britanica" and "Here We Go," tracks that circulated widely among trance DJs and appeared on Anjunabeats Volume 9, mixed by Above & Beyond.
Ost & Meyer built their DJ profile on the strength of those early Anjunabeats releases before Meyer later moved to Enhanced Progressive for further EPs. As a duo they were known on the trance festival and radio circuit for melodic, tech-edged productions that found support from major genre DJs.
After the Ost & Meyer partnership came to a natural end, Meyer continued individually, developing a melodic house and techno direction and creating a separate production alias, Meyer Music, in 2013 to explore local pop work in Ukraine. Their catalogue remains active on Discogs and streaming platforms under the Ost & Meyer name, and the duo is still cited as part of the story of Ukraine's trance and progressive scene through the 2010s.
