Nicole Moudaber
Nicole Moudaber, born 19 January 1977 in Ibadan, Nigeria, to Lebanese and Nigerian parents, is a Lebanese-British techno DJ who began organizing dance parties in Beirut during the 1990s before relocating to build an international club career. She regularly plays DC-10, Amnesia and Space in Ibiza, club bookings that anchor her presence on the island's techno circuit, and her festival sets have included Coachella, Electric Daisy Carnival, Tomorrowland, Glastonbury and Movement Detroit.
In 2014 she debuted MoodZONE, a festival-stage concept she developed with Chris Liebing at EDC New York, later bringing the format to EDC Las Vegas in 2017. Moudaber launched her own radio show, In the Mood, in 2014, broadcasting weekly across more than 50 countries and over 70 FM stations; the show won Best Online Music Show at the 2016 Online Radio Awards and was nominated for Radio Show of the Year at the 2017 Electronic Music Awards.
She heads her own label, MOOD Records, launched in February 2013, and was signed to Carl Cox's Intec label in 2009, releasing her debut album Believe on Drumcode in 2013. Moudaber's DJ career spans techno-focused club residencies, a globally syndicated radio show and a self-created festival stage format.
