Mr. Pit
Mr. Pit, the stage name of Adrian Ivan, is a Romanian DJ and producer working from Timisoara whose progressive and trance sets have carried him to festivals including Sunrise and Global Gathering in Poland. His 2010 track Sky Traffic became one of the year's bigger dancefloor hits under the Mr.
Pit guise, helping establish him within the European progressive trance circuit. His releases and DJ bookings have run through labels including Spinnin', Armada, Coldharbour Recordings, and High Contrast's Nu Breed imprint, placing his output alongside other progressive trance-oriented producers on those rosters. He has continued to release original productions steadily, with tracks such as Deep Catch, Cosmic Echoes To Pluto, and Parallax appearing on his SoundCloud output into the 2020s, indicating sustained studio activity alongside his DJ bookings.
Coverage of his career describes a steady advance from Timisoara's local scene toward wider festival visibility, with his catalogue and live sets both centered on progressive and trance styles. His site, mrpit.ro, and ongoing social output continue to document a touring and producing career that stretches back over roughly a decade and a half, with Overload and Deluxe among his other notable original mixes from the period following his breakout release.
