Moguai
Moguai, born André Tegeler on 9 August 1973 in Recklinghausen, is a German DJ and producer who began his career in the early 1990s organising his own club nights and parties across the Ruhrgebiet and Münsterland. He became one of Germany's first techno DJs during that period, sharing bills and platforms with Paul van Dyk, Westbam and Sven Väth as the country's rave scene took shape.
Tegeler started DJing and producing while studying law at Ruhr University in Bochum, choosing to pursue music professionally rather than a legal career. His sound evolved from early techno into tech-house, progressive house and big beat, a shift reflected in a production catalogue that later included work with Sugababes and Girls Aloud.
Moguai continues to tour actively, with recent club dates including stops at 2BE Club in Bielsko-Biała and shows in Recklinghausen and Stara Przepompownia, keeping him connected to both his hometown scene and international club circuits more than three decades after he started. He remains one of the more recognisable DJs to emerge from the Düsseldorf-to-Dortmund techno corridor, an area he has described as one of Germany's most vibrant electronic music regions.
