Jamie Jones
Jamie Jones is a Welsh house DJ from the Caernarfonshire and Cardiff area, based in London. He emerged through releases including the Amazon EP, Panic and The Capsule EP in 2006, then co-founded the Hot Creations label in 2008. His sets move through tech house, deep house and complementary styles, with Hot Creations describing a distinctive sound and DJ Mag characterising his approach as “nasty house music.” Jones played significant London venues including T-Bar, Kubicle, The End and fabric, and released the Fabric 59 DJ mix.
His most influential residency began in 2012, when he started hosting Paradise at DC10 in Ibiza; he continued the party there for eight seasons. Alongside the label, he is a member of the cross-genre band Hot Natured, which achieved mainstream success with “Benediction.” Resident Advisor named him its top DJ of 2011, and he won Best Deep House DJ at the DJ Awards in 2011 and 2014. His performance style is often noted for trademark head-bobbing as he works through varied house selections.
From formative London rooms to a long-running DC10 party, Jones has built a DJ career around a broad but coherent house aesthetic, supported by Hot Creations as both a label and a curatorial platform.
