Huxley

Huxley, the stage name of Michael Dodman, is a fixture of the UK house scene whose sound spans main room house, techno, and UK bass. His 2012 track “Let It Go,” released on Cedric Maison's Hypercolour imprint, pushed him into wider recognition and led to a lasting relationship with Will Saul's Aus Music label, for which he has released repeatedly over the following decade. In December 2015, Dodman launched his own imprint, No Idea's Original, debuting it with a collaboration alongside J.Phlip, and he has continued to remix artists including Tricky while releasing on labels such as 2020 Vision, Viva, and Moda Black.

As a touring DJ, Huxley has played festivals including Hideout and BSTK, curating mixes for outlets like i-D that showcase both his own productions and selections from artists such as Chambray, Leonardo Gonnelli, and Mr. Gone remixes. His DJ sets draw on a broad house palette rather than a single subgenre, reflecting the range evident in his own catalog and remix work.

Huxley's presence across labels, festival slots, and guest mixes over more than a decade has established him as a consistent name within the UK's house and techno-adjacent club circuit.
