Dustin Zahn
Dustin Zahn is a Minneapolis-born techno DJ and producer who has spent nearly two decades performing internationally, with roots that trace back to a youth steeped in punk rock rebellion before he moved into electronic music. He heads his own label, Enemy Records, an imprint that has become a platform for his own productions and a marker of his standing within the contemporary Midwest and Berlin-adjacent techno scenes. Zahn co-founded the Great Beyond festival, extending his influence beyond the booth into event curation alongside his DJ career.
His sets are known for spanning both hypnotic, marathon performances suited to clubs such as one of Berlin's most well-known venues and joyous, more house-leaning sets played at Minneapolis's long-running daytime party, Communion. That range, moving between stripped-down, hours-long techno sessions and warmer house-inflected sets, has become a defining trait of his DJ identity. Coverage of Zahn has described him as a safe pair of hands within the scene, a reputation built through consistency across studio releases and club dates rather than a single breakout moment.
His combination of label ownership, festival co-founding and sustained international touring has kept him an established name within underground techno circles for close to twenty years.
