Don Rimini

Don Rimini, the stage name of Parisian electronic musician Xavier Gassemann, who began DJing at age 14, a passion he has described as quickly becoming a way of life rather than simply a hobby. Working across electro house, French touch and ghetto house styles, he built his catalogue with releases on Rise Recordings in 2007, followed by a longer association with Mental Groove Records from 2008 and No Brainer Records from 2012.

In 2017 he founded his own label, Bunkaball Records, giving him a platform to release his own material alongside other artists working in similar electronic styles. His track "Let Me Back Up," released in 2008, stands as one of his most notable productions, cited across coverage of his career as a defining early single.

He has performed live tours that have taken him to major French festivals, including an appearance at Les Vieilles Charrues, one of the country's largest music festivals, reflecting his standing within the domestic touring circuit. Rimini's own description of his path, from starting to DJ as a young teenager in Paris through to running his own label and touring internationally, situates him as a veteran of the French electro house scene with a career now spanning roughly two decades.
